Irene is a seductive blue and silver beauty with a mind blowing selection of tonesets!  Two GFS Power Rails humbuckers with a Seymour Duncan SLS-1 lipstick tube in the middle, and a control scheme that lets you make the most of it.

The sides and contours are finished in a sparkling silver metal flake.  The front and back are finished in an ocean blue oil finish. The maple neck with rosewood fingerboard is also finished with oil, waxed and hand rubbed for a fast, silky smoothness.  It continues to get smoother the more you play it.  You may never want to play a varnished neck again!

Speaking of the neck, it's topped with Wilkinson EZ-Lok tuners, which are easy to use, make string changes a breeze, and eliminate string slippage, resulting in greater tuning stability.

The nut is bison bone, and the 22 medium jumbo frets sit on a nicely figured light rosewood fingerboard.  The neck has been contoured to a slim "C" profile.

The strings rest on a barrel type fixed bridge, anchored by a trapeze tailpiece.  Sustain city!

Of course, you want an HSH pickup configuration for the amazing tonal library built right in.  The neck and bridge humbuckers are 9K and 15K respectively, and the Duncan lipstick tube in the middle is about 4K.

I wanted to give the player maximum flexibility, so there are three pickup switches.  The three way lever switch controls the humbuckers, allowing you to select either or both.  The toggle switch selects either the single coil pickup, the humbuckers, or both.

Finally, a coil tap switch lets you switch the Power Rails to single coil mode.  You can use anywhere from 1 to 5 coils at any given time!  From creamy to thunderous and everywhere in between.
